What Drive Us.

Rotary International is a global service organization dedicated to improving the lives of people worldwide.

Ardmore Rotary aims to serve local communities as well as the global initiatives of Rotary International; most notably, Polio Eradication.

Therefore, this event is intended to meet 3 goals:

  1. Raise awareness and funds to support Polio Eradication

  2. Promote and support local community organizations that provide valuable services to people near Ardmore, Pennsylvania

  3. Celebrate the one hundred years of continuous service provided by the members of the Rotary Club of Ardmore and set a trajectory for the future of the Club.

167% of the proceeds* from this event go to Rotary International's Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) and local service organizations such as:

  • Savage Sisters

  • Acting Without Boundaries

  • Narberth Food Pantry

* 167% of proceeds, but how??? Funds raised for Polio Eradication are matched "2-to-1" by the Gates Foundation. Therefore, the first one-third of funds raised will grow back to 100% contributed directly to Rotary International's continuing and necessary work to eradicate Polio once and for all. The remaining two-thirds of the proceeds will be allocated as we do annually to local organizations.
